cum se opreste un device in linux...in windows te descurci din device manager...exista o asemenea optiune in linux?
ps: am un laptop cu linux si vreau sa ii opresc modemul si card-readerul pt a mari viata bateriei...

Cam tarziu...dar mai bine acum decat niciodata... Intel a dezvoltat un utilitar  pe nume powerTOP http://www.linuxpowertop.org/powertop.php. Din cate am citit ar merge si pe AMD, dar personal nu l-am incercat.
