In specificatiile unui laptop este mentionat ca acesta detine "PCI Express serial port: 1X (Type II compatible)".
Stiu ca poate suna aiurea intrebarea insa in acest port se poate folosi un card PCMCIA? Din cautarile mele nu am reusit sa gasesc raspunsul exact, mai exact ma nedumereste chestia cu PCI Express serial port.

PCI-ul normal este de tipul paralel, iar PCI expres este de tip serial. (PCMCIA nu ştiu de care îi dar presupun că îi paralel)
(dinou) presupun că la asta se referă "PCI Express serial port: 1X (Type II compatible)"
