Eu văd un singur avantaj: Another important advantage of the Octane series is that it includes large-capacity SSDs of 512 GB and 1 TB. There are virtually no other SATA 6 Gbit/s SSDs with such capacities now.

Bine, ăsta e și singurul, ei spun acolo că performanțele sunt slabe la random access dar la fel de bune la acces secvențial. Adică tot prost, dar nu la fel de prost.  ;;)

Iar avantajul de mai sus e capacitatea mare, cu cât mai mari cu atât mai bine, au tot timpul să se ieftinească și să scadă la prețuri "normale".
