Interesanta jucaria.
Din pacate insa subsistemul grafic nVidia Go8700 dezamageste.
Este ca si cum ti-ai lua un nVidia 8600 doar pentru a putea rula 'continut' DX10.

Oare cu un laptop "normal" cu placa video on-board la care adaugi o placa video externa nu iesi mai ieftin? 1000$ laptopul, raman 600 pentru placa video.

lapcat, pai acest Asus este cam singura placa video externa anuntata.
Altceva nu prea exista.
Acest Asus XG ar fi trebuit sa apara pe piata in Q2 2007.

Gaseste-mi rogu-te, cateva site-ur/magazine unde se comercializeaza jucarioara asta (si aici exclud engineering samples & stuff).

Asadar te las pe tine sa alegi intre nu exista si nu prea exista. :D

Dupa o mica cautare, se pare ca jucarioara ar putea totusi sa iasa pe piata.
Exact cand si la ce pret, well your guess is as good as mine.
Si, ca idee: aceasta placa grafica externa se va putea folosi numai via un monitor extern.
Cu alte cuvinte, nu este o solutie care sa-ti permita ridicarea performantelor video via ecranul laptopului, ci numai via unul extern. ;)
